Valentina teaches in the tradition of the Russian School of Music – the approach in which she was trained and which underpins everything she does at the piano. It is a tradition that values deep musical understanding alongside technical excellence and one that produces pianists who don't just play the notes, but genuinely understand and interpret the music and its contents.

She works with students at every level, from those preparing for their early grades through to conservatoire applicants and degree-level performers. Her track record speaks for itself.

From Grade 6 through to ABRSM and Trinity Diploma, Licentiate, Associate, Fellowship and degree level – covering both performance and music theory. All examinations at ABRSM and Trinity level. A Level, AS Level and GCSE Music also taught.

Accompaniment

Valentina is an experienced accompanist, available to work with instrumentalists and singers.
