Russian Romantics

A Cello & Piano Program

Featuring Mikhail Lezdkan (Cello), Anna Lezdkan (Violin), and myself (Piano)

The program includes  compositions written at the end of  the 19th  and beginning of the 20th centuries by well-known Russian composers: Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Glazounov, Rachmaninoff,  Gliere.

I will be performing - and also introducing some of my Southampton University students in their first public performance experience as part of their degree program.

I will be taking part in a series of short performances by various local musicians in a 2 hour (with Interval) free concert (retiring collection) to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Portsmouth being awarded city status.

I will be as a member of the Solent Symphony Orchestra in a performance of Saint-Saëns – Symphony No. 3 (2nd mvt) 'Organ' Concerto

There will be other Choirs and Musical participants in the continuing celebration of the Centenary of Portsmouth becoming a city.
